Brandon was one of the first people I met when I moved to Columbus, Georgia - he just walked up and introduced himself. He then became one of the four people at my wedding, capturing the moment and sealing our friendship. He is a creative to his core and when COVID halted all art shows, he pivoted into a new space.

What is your favorite thing to create?

At this moment in time music, photography is a close second.

Can you share (either visually, musically, or in words) your most prized creation with us?

The first EP I ever put out was huge for me:

I then continued to make music, this is one of my recent favorites:

What inspired you to create this particular piece?

I needed another form of expression. COVID stalled my art show ideas and forced me to go inward. It's a side of me that has been there since I was a baby, and I've always wanted to give music a real try, I was worried that it would take away from my life behind the camera to be honest.

Where do you find your inspiration?

Everywhere. Sometimes I get overstimulated and end up doing nothing and I had to learn that it's ok to sit back and process. My friends and family definitely put a fire under me to get things done as well. Sometimes I'll intentionally tell them good ideas so they hold me to it later. I'm inspired by them and all the things they accomplish.

When your inspo levels are low and things look pretty bleak, how do you get yourself back into your creative space?

I go visit my family, hang out with my cousins, go live my life basically. I understand the grind but I also understand the calm in between the waves better.

Any words of wisdom or advice for those who find themselves lacking inspiration at this moment in time?

It's OK to sit still. Also, don't disrespect God by wanting to be someone else. You'll be ok, I promise.

Where can we find you and your work?
